Carle Vanloo (1705-1765)

The following four works have a purely sentimental value. When I was young, I used to own a book on the principles of art-making, and it contained a reproduction of Vanloo's Painting. I remembered about the book when I found these four paintings at the Palace of the Legion of Honor during last summer's trip to San Francisco.
