I recently graduated with a PhD from the Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. I
am interested in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Specifically, my
PhD
thesis involves applying machine learning techniques to address the problem of
multi-viewpoint object detection. During my PhD, I was a member of the Ponce Research Group headed
by Prof. Jean Ponce at UIUC.
I am currently on a break from Computer Science research and have joined Two Sigma Investments - a financial
firm in New York!
Earlier, I received an MS in Computer Science from UIUC in 2005. Before that, I spent four absolutely awesome years (1999 - 2003) doing my B.Tech. at the Computer Science Department at IIT Delhi. |
